Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Security protection is the best feature of this product.""Whenever there is a major thing like Exchange vulnerabilities, it scans our Exchange server for indicators of compromise. It then alerts us and points exactly where we need to go to check for ourselves if it is normal or not."

"Their intelligence is really good. The security whitepapers that they write are outstanding. They handle it all for the clients. CrowdStrike Complete is managed by CrowdStrike. They only call a client if there is a problem that they can't address. They pretty much contain and eradicate. This is not something that every vendor provides.""The solution is easy to deploy and manage.""The features I have found valuable are artificial intelligence, which protects us against malicious forces of any kind, and device control through the remote execution tool.""CrowdStrike Falcon Complete has a very lightweight agent that provides signatureless detection protection from known and unknown malware or ransomware which is very useful.""If there is something wrong or not normal in the endpoint CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is very responsive.""I find the incident management feature valuable because it identifies new types of viruses and sends an alert to the console administrator to check the hardware.""The solution is quite flexible.""The real-time response features are valuable for us."

Cons
"They focus on detecting administrator-level control compromises. Because they're focusing more on administrator-level compromise, they are less able to see if an individual user has been compromised. It is, admittedly, very difficult because they don't know what normal human behavior is. If a hacker compromises a human account and then acts just like the human, how are you ever going to notice, unless you have some inside knowledge of how the company works? For example, they overlook account lockouts on user accounts, whereas in our own alerting system, we do not. We review every account lockout, and if it is bad, we contact the person, whereas they think of that as noise because they're more focused on the administrator-level compromise.""It can sometimes take up to an hour to get notification of a problem and that's a long time."

"The logging features aren't robust and the information isn't kept long enough.""It would be nice to have full-scale ESR reporting.""The customization could be tweaked. We can do a bunch of custom dashboards. However, the one thing that I'm not a fan of is when you go to do an investigation, the way that the processes are laid out on the screen is very bland looking. While the information is there, it could be laid out better.""All of our customers complain about the reporting and say that it is very poor.""They need to continuously integrate with other security tools such as CyberArk or Mimecast, to cover the entire IT infrastructure.""The solution should include some sort of DLP capabilities.""The documentation that they had for the use of their API's was not very helpful.""The technical support is good. However, the technical support is outsourced to India which causes some language barriers. I am not sure if this is still an issue, they might have allotted more suitable representatives."

Information Not Available
  • "The price is okay, although you're not going to get away cheap when it comes to security."
  • "At approximately €60 per machine, per year, I think that it's a good price point."
  • "It is a fairly firm price. It is not the cheapest solution, but if you take the complete team into consideration, it is a great value."
  • "The average price is approximately $500 per customer."
  • "CrowdStrike is more expensive than SentinelOne. Licensing works on the number of agents and the modules you buy. CrowdStrike has different modules, such as Falcon, Falcon Overwatch, Falcon Complete, etc. The pricing depends upon the module that the customer wants. They have different Incident Response (IR) teams, which are very expensive."
  • "They are really reasonable for the services they are providing. When you add more endpoints, you are going to pay more for the license."
  • "Its price is very high. CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is 50% more expensive than Cisco AMP for Endpoints."
  • "There is a license for this solution and everything is included. However, The price of the could be lower."
