Crowdstrike Falcon also offers the ability to access its protective software anywhere on the planet that has a connection to the internet. This makes it an easily accessible anti-malware program. The cloud component of the program makes it especially useful for large organizations. In a world where remote work is a crucial addition to companies of various sizes, unlimited access to software that can secure the future of their organization is crucial. A large staff will now have the ability to continue their business without the fear of malicious actors. A further aspect of the program which is impressive is its ability to both provide real-time data and at the same time keep the hardware running at normal speed. It maximizes security while not sacrificing the speed of the work that the user is trying to accomplish. These two aspects make Crowdstrike Falcon the type of program that has a clear advantage over its competitors. FireEye Endpoint Security offers its users the ability to integrate itself with other environments and software. This provides a level of flexibility that is valuable in any sort of software, much less an anti-viral program. It also has a simplicity of use and precision in spotting unknown malware. All of these qualities make it a pretty effective piece of software. However, FireEye does not offer a cloud option like Crowdstrike Falcon does. This serves to limit its usefulness to companies that operate remotely. Conclusion Crowdstrike Falcon definitely offers a flexible and versatile program that has much to offer for the relatively low price being paid. FireEye Endpoint Security lacks the cloud compatibility of Crowdstrike Falcon. Overall, Crowdstrike Falcon seems to be the far more effective software.

"It is a very stable program.""It doesn't impact the devices. It is an agent-based solution, and we see no performance knock on cell phones. That was a big thing for us, especially in the mobile world. We don't see battery degradation like you do with other solutions which really drain the battery, as they're constantly doing things. That can shorten the useful life of a device.""Another of my favorite features is called the Device Trajectory, where it shows everything that's going on, on a computer. It shows the point in time when a virus is downloaded, so you can see if the user was surfing the internet or had a program open. "Their endpoint is pretty flawless. There is no lag on the machines at all. Even though I have a good overview of all the machines, that's pretty much the most valuable feature of CrowdStrike Falcon.""The OverWatch is the most valuable feature to me. "The connector updates are very easily done now, and that's improving. Previously, the connector had an issue, where almost every time it needed to be updated, it required a machine reboot. This was always a bit of an inconvenience and a bug. Because with a lot of software now, you don't need to do that and shouldn't need to be rebooting all the time.""The GUI needs improvement, it's not good.""We have had some problems with updates not playing nice with our environment. This is important, because if there is a new version, we need to test it thoroughly before it goes into production. We cannot just say, "There's a new version. It's not going to give us any problems." With the complexity of the solution using multiple engines for multiple tasks, it can sometimes cause performance issues on our endpoints. Therefore, we need to test it before we deploy. That takes one to three days before we can be certain that the new version plays nice with our environment.""I would recommend that the solution offer more availability in terms of the product portfolio and integration with third-party products.""The thing I hate the most, which they have not fixed, is when it creates duplicate entries within a console. If you have a computer and you upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10, or you upgrade your agent from version 6 to 7, it creates a new instance in there instead of updating the information. Instead of paying a license for one computer, I have to license two computers until I manually go in, search for all the duplicate entries, and clean them out myself.""We don't have issues. We think that Cisco covers all of the security aspects on the market. They continue to innovate in the right way.""The technical support is very slow.""We had a lot of noise at the beginning, and we had to turn it down based on exclusions, application whitelisting, and excluding unknown benign applications. "The solution needs to have integration with on-premises security devices and security facilities. That means all the security products, including the perimeter firewall, the DMZ.""The console is a little cluttered and at times, finding what you're looking for is not intuitive.""The Integration with tools, SOC tools, could be better.""It would be nice if they did have some sort of Active Directory tie-in, whether that be Azure or on-prem. Sometimes, it is difficult for us to determine if we are missing any endpoints or servers in CrowdStrike. We honestly don't have a great inventory, but it would be nice if CrowdStrike had a way to say this is everything in your environment, Active Directory-wise, and this is what doesn't have sensors. They try to do that now with a function that they have built-in, but I have been unsuccessful in having it help us identify what needs a sensor. So, better visibility of what doesn't have a sensor in our environment would be helpful.""Any kind of integration that you want to do, such as using the API to connect to a SIEM, is complex and it will be expensive to do.""It does take more time to scan than other solutions.""A year and a half ago or more, if you put in a support request by email, then it wasn't timely addressed. It could be a day to three days before you received a response, which was a bit frustrating. There was a lot of customer feedback around this issue, which has been greatly refined.""Too many false positives."

"They have something called Managed Detection and Response. They get intel from their customers, and that intel is shared with the rest of FireEye's customers. I want to subscribe to their intel, but that is not available to us.""The Linux support is very poor. I use base detection. Currently, they are providing malware protection and logon track features in Windows and Mac. These features aren't available in Linux. It will be helpful to extend these capabilities to Linux. We would also like assets grouping and device lock protection features, which are included in their roadmap.""Most of these types of solutions including others, such as Carbon Black and FortiEDR, all have the same features. However, Carbon Black is the leader when it comes to being robust and user-friendly and this solution should improve in those areas to stay more competitive.""We would like to solution to offer better security.""It has very good integrations. However, its integration with Palo Alto was not good, and they seem to be working on it at the backend. It is not very resource-hungry, but it can be even better in terms of resource utilization. "Licensing fees are on a yearly basis and I am happy with the pricing.""The Enterprise Agreement is like an all-you-can-eat buffet of Cisco products. In that vein, it was very affordable.""There is also the Cisco annual subscription plus my management time in terms of what I do with the Cisco product. I spend a minimal amount of time on it though, just rolling out updates as they need them and monitoring the console a couple of times a day to ensure nothing is out of control. Cost-wise, we are quite happy with it.""Our company was very happy with the price of Cisco AMP. It was about a third of what we were paying for System Center Endpoint Protection.""There are a couple of different consumption models: Pay up front, or if you have an enterprise agreement, you can do a monthly thing. Check your licensing possibilities and see what's best for your organization.""In our case, it is a straightforward annual payment through our Enterprise Agreement.""Whenever you are doing the licensing process, I would highly advise to look at what other Cisco solutions you have in your organization, then evaluate if an Enterprise Agreement is the best way to go. In our case, it was the best way to go. Since we had so many other Cisco products, we were able to tie those in. We were actually able to get several Cisco security solutions for less than if we had bought three or four Cisco security solutions independently or ad hoc.""The pricing and licensing are reasonable. It might be a little bit higher than other antivirus type products, but we're only talking about a dollar a month per user. Hello, I think it doesn't make sense to just compare device protection and automated response security solutions, it's missing to protect identities, devices, and insider access. I think: The best and most valuable option is Microsoft.

1. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, is an enterprise endpoint security platform designed to help enterprise networks prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to advanced threats.
2. Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Plan 1 protects email and collaboration from zero-day malware, phish, and business email compromise,  Plan 2 adds post-breach investigation, hunting, and response, as well as automation, and simulation (for training).

If the end customer already has Microsoft 365 in companies or educational institutions, they already have the collaboration tools, only the security and endpoint management tools should be added, all with Microsoft 365 E5/A5, no more investment is being made, it is being consolidated, visibility is gained, responses are automated, the fatigue of operating so many security events that you do not have the time or personnel to review them decrease.
