We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"I like the Firewall and the IPS.""Forcepoint Next Generation Firewall is very simple, easy to use, and flexible.""I like the IPS. IPS is the master feature. I depend on the firewall and sandbox.""It is stable and scalable. In addition, their support is great. When you ask them for something, they provide support, and if required, they also involve the R&D team to help you to resolve the issues in your configuration.""The most valuable feature of this solution is the support.""The people we deal with is a local partner in Cambodia and we can get good support from them.""It is a stable solution, and there are no issues so far.""It is a scalable product. I know a customer who has deployed more than 4,000 firewalls in a single deployment."

"It is very easy to deploy. The GUI interface is really good, and the security features are also very good. It is also stable and scalable, and their support is also good.""The division of Control Plane and Data Plane is most valuable. It can be deployed anywhere, and you can control it and configure it from anywhere. This is one of the good features of this solution.""Overall, it's nice and very user friendly. That's what makes it so successful. They give you complicated features but with a very simple user interface, and that's been a big success for them.""There are great security and ops features without the need for having a different box for security.""The solution is stable and suitable.""Our organization finds the application routing features extremely useful.""The most valuable aspects of the solution are the next-generation firewall features and geo-blocking capabilities.""Their dashboard is also a good point for us and the customer. Cons
"The security features need to be improved.""They need to work on stability, it has not been the best in our experience.""Making this solution easier to use would be an improvement.""Forcepoint would be improved if there were more training available.""They need to increase the local support here. There are also some bugs or fixes on which they need to work. They very well know about these bugs. In terms of licensing, I would like them to either increase the number of features in a single license or make licensing more flexible.""The solution needs to build upon its network functionality. It needs to be a bit smarter.""Something that I've noticed that Forcepoint lacks, is the training that they offer to their end-customers""If I want to allow access to Facebook, yet not allow the user to access videos, then I am not able to do it with this product."

"SASE is the next big thing that is coming up, and it needs to be developed in Versa. This is the only thing that needs to be adapted very quickly by Versa. With the pandemic going on, I would like to see more features for working from home. They have launched Versa Secure Access (VSA), but it is currently immature. They need to tighten it up for work from home and SD-WAN concept.""Another thing that should be improved in Versa are their firewall features.""The smaller units lack a lot of functionality.""With the pandemic and changing work models, it would be ideal if the product more accessibility options or more diversity within the solution itself.""I heard about them for the first time just before I started working on Versa. They do have blogs for information, but they could publicize more about the documentation and architecture. It doesn't seem to have that much exposure, and they should work on their customer base more.""The support needs to be improved.""Future releases should contain AI for the voice feature.""We are thinking about how to make customers consolidate the loads to an SD-WAN network so that the customers can have bigger chunk from the SD-WAN side so that customers can have critical data be transferred with NPS VPN and non-critical data or some labeled traffic can be transferred by the SD-WAN network. I think it's a very important direction for digital transformation."

Pricing and Cost Advice
"The cost is fair, but it could be improved.""It is expensive.""It could be cheaper like Fortinet.""The pricing of the solution is normally competitive with other products.""Everything in Forcepoint comes with an individual license, which is kind of a problem. In our last meeting, they said that it may change at the beginning of 2021, and they will try to merge some licenses together. Customers will get more features than what they got previously. We will wait and see.""We have just a subscription for the cloud, and this license is great. The license is so good.""We have found the price could be reduced. It is a little expensive.""I consider Forcepoint Next Generation Firewall's price to be good."

"We provide subscriptions for our customers on a yearly, not monthly, basis.""The price is expensive but it makes sense for the market.""While I cannot provide too much commentary on the price, I feel it to be fair for the moment.""It is not very expensive because of the white box support. Its hardware is much cheaper than other products. With the support for x86 and white box, it is one of the most cost-effective platforms that are currently available."
