Quotes From Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"The solution helps us to collaborate.""The most valuable feature is that it is simple to use.""The document sharing in which multiple people can work on the same document. To go along with that is the archiving of documents. If you mess up a document, it's easy to go get a previous version.""Convenient to share and collaborate documents.""It is quite a useful tool. It allows many people to work on a document. You can actually provide review comments and tag anybody to make the comment changes. You can also attach a document in Google Chat.""The implementation was very easy.""In terms of email, I could probably do the same things with other programs, however, I find 90% of my usage is Gmail.""The most valuable part of G Suite is the integration among all of the components. It's also highly reliable because it's always available. And G Suite's ability to collaborate on all the standard office tools has no rival. It's amazing because you can work seamlessly with any of your colleagues on the same document."

Cons
"The problem with the presentation is that if you upload a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation and you convert it to Google presentation, the slides or pictures, their images are not editable. You can't edit the slides that you brought in. They're just images.""The synchronization is a bit of an issue.""Less customizations than there used to be.""The solution could always be more secure, although that doesn't affect me so much.""I am not a big fan of how Gmail organizes the mail. I find it complicated to see which mail from which users send at which date. Especially if there is a lot.""Google Meet is a very good product, but it's not up to the mark if you compare it against other products like Zoom or Microsoft Teams.""We noticed that sometimes when we forward emails to somebody, it is being relocated as part of the communication somewhere else. The traceability and other features should be improved.""We use Zoom most of the time for official meetings, and we use Google Meet only for internal meetings. I would like to get an improvised Google Meet. It would be good if they can make Google Meet more clear in communication and more scalable like Zoom."

"The exchange compatibility mode is rather limited. Their technical support can also be better. They only provide online support, and there should be some option for escalating.""Our customers sometimes have problems receiving mail.""I would like to have a trial for mobile applications and more documentation similar to Google Drive with mobile applications."

Pricing and Cost Advice
"The pricing is very high, although I cannot tell if this is the result of the Indian vendors artificially inflating it.""It's low in cost as compared to Office 365. There is an annual licensing cost.""Licensing costs are on a yearly basis.""2,500 Rupees per month per user.""We pay a monthly subscription for the use of this solution.""The main challenge regarding startups with identity services is you could be on a platform that works well but the services are expensive. For example, Microsoft Azure costs approximately $30 per user which is expensive. You end up choosing a different platform, such as G Suite Enterprise because it is priced reasonably and is less expensive than other solutions.""Approximately $6 per user, per month.""It's about $8.30 up a user per month."
