Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The valuable features of this solution are ease of use, performance is great, and collaboration. It is very easy to share and joins documents.""I have found the solution to be pretty stable.""It's a secure solution that enables you to choose those you wish to share with.""The most valuable part of G Suite is the integration among all of the components. It's also highly reliable because it's always available. And G Suite's ability to collaborate on all the standard office tools has no rival. It's amazing because you can work seamlessly with any of your colleagues on the same document.""In terms of email, I could probably do the same things with other programs, however, I find 90% of my usage is Gmail.""The features we use quite a lot are the mail and Google Drive. We can store documents and share documents between both employees here, locally in Sweden, and we have an office in the US as well. It's a very easy way to share information and documents, and have online meetings and stuff with Google Meet. We use it quite a lot.""Convenient to share and collaborate documents.""It is quite a useful tool. It allows many people to work on a document. You can actually provide review comments and tag anybody to make the comment changes. You can also attach a document in Google Chat."

"It's so much of a part of what I do every day that I don't give it a lot of thought. It just works, for the most part, until it doesn't, in which case I call tech support.""The initial setup is quite a straightforward process. I don't think it is a very complicated solution. Plenty of things could be more complex, but the ordinary, general settings are quite simple.""We have found it to be a stable solution. It is scalable and easy to install.""The most valuable features are that you can exchange information, tasks, attachments, and enhance the process in a short amount of time.""For me, the solution is very user-friendly. I've used it a long time and I know where everything is.""The availability group settings are better, so it has inherent scalability. In 2010, they added several sensible rules.""The initial setup is very simple.""Microsoft Exchange is comparable to the Outlook client. Both are Microsoft products, and most people are familiar with Outlook. This is why the best feature of Microsoft Exchange is the ease of use. It is more compatible with the client software, especially for Microsoft Outlook. There are a lot of features available that are required for businesses users."

Cons
"The problem with the presentation is that if you upload a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation and you convert it to Google presentation, the slides or pictures, their images are not editable. You can't edit the slides that you brought in. They're just images.""Their tool called Sheets is the counterpart to Excel but it doesn't have the same functionality that Excel would have. So usually if somebody needs to go back to Excel or Office, it's because of Excel.""They could increase the number of third-party integrations on offer.""Our users have faced an issue with increasing their email quotas over the last three months.""I am not a big fan of how Gmail organizes the mail. I find it complicated to see which mail from which users send at which date. Especially if there is a lot.""The solution could always be more secure, although that doesn't affect me so much.""Sometimes, I would like to be able to use the solution offline, and I can't do so. It would be ideal if there was some sort of offline mode available.""There seems to be a bit of vulnerability on some operating systems, specifically on the iPhone. There isn't as much control as if a person is using an Android. That's a bit of a concern."

"The solution should be easier to deploy.""For new users, it might take them some time to get used to the product.""The main problem with Microsoft products is that we're constantly required to install patches and fixes.""They could continue to improve the consolidation and integration of mailbox services to make them more flexible, easier to deploy, and more manageable.""From a security point of view, Microsoft should enhance the new features. Technical support could also be better.""There are limitations in terms of the number of emails that can be sent in a minute, which makes it a little difficult for the marketing folks.""From a reliability perspective, they need to improve the search engine, it is not very powerful.""The calendar integration in Exchange is not that great. The email features are okay, but it doesn't integrate well with the calendar and appointments, especially Zoom appointments. It integrates fine with Microsoft Teams, but Zoom is a challenge."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "It's about $8.30 up a user per month."
  • "2,500 Rupees per month per user."
  • "Licensing costs are on a yearly basis."
  • "We normally purchase the license on a yearly basis."
  • "It's low in cost as compared to Office 365. There is an annual licensing cost."
  • "We pay a monthly subscription for the use of this solution."
  • "The pricing is very high, although I cannot tell if this is the result of the Indian vendors artificially inflating it."
  • "Approximately $6 per user, per month."

  • "It's working very well. There is no problem, but the price is not the best."
  • "Its price is okay."
  • "It's a little bit expensive."
  • "Its price is very affordable, and basically, it is the standard of the industry. We have the Exchange 365 subscription, which includes the usage of Exchange Online. I don't know the specific cost, but it is the retail price of Microsoft 365 E3 licenses. Microsoft's licensing is not very easy to understand. Microsoft changes rules every other day, which makes it difficult for us to understand the licensing not only for Exchange but also for other products. It can sometimes be really complex to understand what you need to have in order to comply with Microsoft licensing."
  • "Microsoft doesn't have a unit price, it's based on the quantity, and they offer great discounts."
  • "We are currently using enterprise licenses for the solution. They are different pricing models available. There are individual, cloud-based, and enterprise licenses all with different pricing models. The larger the number of users, the lesser the price. For small to medium companies like us, we feel it is expensive."
  • "Its price is fair."
  • "We pay for the license annually."
