We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"The stability of the solution is very reliable.""Its versatility, performance, and size are most valuable. It is very decent for its size. It has very good performance and very good specifications.""Technical support is excellent. They are very helpful.""For me, this is the best frame server technology available in the market. We can compare it to Cisco UCS. It is robust and stable, and it is also easy to deploy and scale. Their support is the best.""In terms of the productivity of our deployment team, the amount of time has been decreased a lot. In the past, to deploy one c7000 chassis with 15 or 16 blades, we literally used to spend two to three weeks. But with a Synergy, it's very quick. Within three days we can do the deployment.""I like that it's suitable for virtualization. It's also stable and scalable. The newer version has a lot of memory, and you don't have to worry about updates.""The product enables the centralization of all administrative tasks.""We've found the scalability to be reasonable if you are ready to invest in it."

"The initial setup is pretty quick.""It uses the same platform for connectivity so integration is seamless.""The main feature I have found to be product replication.""The most valuable features are the Metro clustering, and disaster recovery.""It's very easy-to-use.""It performs well and it is also very fast.""The onboarding and integrated monitoring tools are pretty good."

Cons
"Changes to the solution are quite complex.""The setup was a bit complex.""I would definitely like to see them fix the firmware updates on all the blades. No matter what operating system it is running on, make sure I can do the firmware as well as the software for those firmware components at the same time. I don't want to have to rely on an external product. Let's bring that product inside the menu so that I have a better experience with updates.""Technical support was time consuming and unsatisfactory. The initial product setup was complex, lasing around three weeks to a month.""In the past, I have had issues with configurations.""The performance could be better. The converged network cards initially didn't work. However, later on in the newer version, they came up with 50 GB network cards to replace the 20 GB ones, and it's perfectly fine now. At times, it could also be more stable.""The profiles aren't so easy to work with.""The Synergy platform is HPE-specific and more for on-premises. You're kind of locked in with VMware and the HPE with the VMs. The Nutanix offering is a bit more flexible."

"Compared to, for example, Hitachi NAS, the solution is not mature at all. It's just in its infancy as far as technology goes.""It's on the expensive side, as expected for a niche product.""I would like to see the licensing fees improved as well as the price per terabytes.""The solution is expensive.""There could be improvements in public cloud integration.""It would be nice if you could store file-based in the same box with the same technology.""The feature that we're waiting on is better integration with the cell services."

Pricing and Cost Advice
"We don't have to pay for Synergy because it's part of our plan.""We are satisfied with its price.""We have already paid once. It is just the price for the permit and its use. It seems you don't have to keep paying for it, but I am not sure."

"The price is a little high.""The price of this solution could be made more affordable.""Licensing fees are paid yearly.""In my opinion, we have paid the right price for the product. I don't think that it is too much or too little."
