We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"The best feature is the maintenance module, which is essentially an industry-specific workflow designed with a manufacturing module as per industry standards. It's very precise and specific without having complex functionalities. It's straightforward. Field Service Management is definitely a wonderful product that IFS has developed because it caters to field services. The energy and utility sectors can answer their business needs using the software.""One of our favorite features is the "Info-Zone", which provides operational intelligence in flight and in context to guide both business users and support teams to productivity.""The product is quite flexible.""The solution overall is very versatile and flexible, especially compared to other products.""Some of the strengths are Enterprise Management Solutions and the series of Management solutions which is number one in Gartner's report and has been for the last five years."

"If anyone is familiar with Microsoft products then they can handle it easily.""The relation between CRM and Sales, that's the main strength of this ERP.""I like that it's a complete ERP solution from production level to branch level.""Dynamics AX provides a lot of functionality.""It is easy to use, and it has a great UI. It has very well-structured modules. In terms of setup and configuration, they're logically placed, which makes it easy for any user to pick up information and learn more about the system, rather than just be plain key users of that business operating system.""The stability is very good.""It is stable, suitable for businesses, and covers all business needs.""Support is really good."

Cons
"We would like to see AI-driven CSI functions built into the tool that would allow us to quickly tie our improvement goals to metrics and activities, so Assyst will suggest the next steps to help us get closer to our goals.""The integration is a bit complex, and post-implementation support services need to be improved. They have a service center based out of Sri Lanka. The support aspect is good, but the response time is a little slower than we anticipated. In the next release, it would be better if Warehouse Management could be improvised. They have a product line that's a data warehouse management system, but it's still premature and requires a bit of enhancement.""There are certain digital features that need to be incorporated, such as IOP.""It would be ideal if, in the future, the product could incorporate IoT and blockchain elements. We'd like to explore more of these types of features going forward.""The user interface can be improved. When you're clicking through the screens, there are some icons or symbols that really need updating and would be more useful and noticeable if they are aesthetically pleasing."

"There are so many errors.""There is no Arabic interface in Microsoft Business Central, which is a big weak point.""If I had to add something in the next release, it would probably be a mobile application for a sister application of Dynamics 365; not the ERP but the Dynamics 365 HR solution. It would definitely help if we could have Microsoft or a Microsoft partner introduce a mobile application for it.""It could be more scalable and stable. It would also be better if the interface were more integrated with the Microsoft ecosystem because 2012 is not really integrated.""The integration could improve for the future.""It is being decommissioned.""There should be the capability for users to enhance the application by using a low-code or no-code product from the Microsoft family.""The product is standardised across industries so it is not a good fit for all types of sectors."

Pricing and Cost Advice
"IFS Applications is expensive software, but it's on par with SAP and Oracle. It's for large enterprises and government entities and not for small and medium-sized enterprises. They have one licensing model, but if you want to have a module-specific license, they provide component-based licenses. Unlike SAP and Oracle, it doesn't have different levels of licensing. It's one level of licensing.""Ask for all-inclusive pricing, as they are pretty flexible if you ask for custom models.""Pricing is an area that could be improved. They could be more competitive."

"I don't know how much this solution costs off the top of my head, but I know that the cloud and SaaS solutions are cheaper.""It's too expensive for customers to take this on themselves. As partners, we will buy this on behalf of the customers and then charge this value for each project.""It is $180 to $200 per user per month with a minimum of 20 users, which makes selling the product a bit difficult.""It has a pay-as-you-go subscription.""The pricing is expensive."
