We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"The user interface is very good.""I would say that the solution is highly configurable.""The most valuable feature is that it works according to how the Internet works.""I have found there to be many features, such as manufacturing, accounting, financials, inventory, and purchasing.""NetSuite ERP is good for a trading company that involves buying and selling.""It's integrated into everything well so you can navigate and use it in a very simple way.""The project management aspect and the timesheets are valuable, especially for ensuring that our milestone billings are automated properly. From a manufacturing perspective, it is more to do with the entire management of the inventory, the overall finance, consolidation of books of accounts, and managing the profit and loss in a more effective manner.""The most valuable feature in NetSuite ERP is the user interface."

"Great finance modules and customization.""It makes financial operations easier to perform.""It is scalable.""The complete product suite is good. The financials are good, it is the best product I've been working with is Oracle Financial. Supply chain manufacturing is very comprehensive and the connectivity, between all the modules, is seamless. They are all communicated well with one another.""As we have been using this for the past nine years we have had the opportunity to explore the product. Really everything has worked well and all the modules are very good.""The most valuable feature is its flexibility.""This software scales very well across various implementations.""Their great technical support is one of the most valuable features."

Cons
"There is a lot of room for improvement. Multiple manufacturing features need to be updated on NetSuite. More functionalities need to be added. I think there are a lot of functionalities coming out for warehouse management systems and manufacturing automation via advanced manufacturing functionalities. I think they need to improve a little more on those aspects and make it easier on the scheduling aspect.""In terms of the main improvement to NetSuite is the talent itself. It's grown so fast and there are about 25,000 companies running on it, and it's a relatively newer system compared to other competitors. It's growing so fast that the talent base in the partner organization (there's about 200 of them), is pretty thin.""If you do go through an implementor, you need to be careful that they are actual implementors and not just resellers.""Some of the features around the payroll and payroll taxes and management of that are lacking. We had to outsource some of that because we found that the functionality isn't there.""The solution is not user-friendly and it is complex to use.""It would be great if they offered localization for Central America.""The solution could be more stable.""What needs to be improved is the development in the other areas and other businesses that can use NetSuite."

More NetSuite ERP Cons »

"In the future, Oracle E-Business Suite could improve by having a better UI. Competitors are providing much better interfaces.""It requires training before you can easily use this product, so it should be easier to use.""I would say the integration needs improvement. Oracle needs to work on the integration layer to make the solution much more robust and modern.""If you get away from the financials core of the product, it is not so good at handling peripherals.""The reporting needs to be improved.""I would like an end-to-end in terms of processes. There are different modules, however, there's not that end-to-end that we are looking for in terms of process automation.""The simplicity of the user experience needs to be improved tremendously.""It is difficult to get answers from technical support right away."

Pricing and Cost Advice
"When people buy ERP, it's a competitive situation and the pricing is paramount.""The price of the solution is quite high.""There is an annual license required to use this solution.""It is completely on a subscription basis. We pay yearly and, and you do not have to do anything on a monthly basis. Prices depend on the organization's scale and all those things, but they are doing a good job with the pricing."

More NetSuite ERP Pricing and Cost Advice »

"The pricing of the solution is at about $700-$750 per year.""Licensing is on a yearly basis. There is an initial cost, and the standard fee is 22% per year.""Both the current projects and future projects should be defined well. Licensing should be done according to current and near future plans.""The price would be better if it were lower.""The price of the solution is extremely high.""The license is very expensive and I think that it needs to be cheaper to get a wider range of users or customers.""At our various customers, the software tends to pay for itself in less than two years.""USD $100,000 annually."
