We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"The solution is very good at building out a roadmap based on client needs and feedback.""The most valuable feature is the support for mobile devices.""I think that it's stable. I don't believe that there are any issues.""The technical support is very good.""It has good navigation, and it is user friendly and secure. Every three months, there is an upgrade, and it has new features.""This solution has localized the payroll which is a good thing.""We have not had any issues with the stability of this solution.""Offers a good balanced scorecard capability."

"It's great for helping users deal with their supply chain.""PeopleSoft is a good core system. It has a lot of functionality. They frequently update the solution and recently they have added some good enhancements features for higher education. We just switched to the new fluid interface and that is working very well for us is very good.""It's a mature product.""The time system is what we get the most benefit from.""It is a customizable product. We can customize it based on our needs, which is one of the features that I like about PeopleSoft. As far as financial accounting is concerned, the user interface is very good. You can also configure Chart of Accounts for all performance insights.""The solution is easy to scale, expand and make bigger.""The recruiting is most valuable. It saves time in having easy and fast applicants tracking as well as candidates' contact plus pipeline management.""A solid and mature product."

Cons
"There should be more digital assistance included, like chatbots.""The product needs to keep improving the integration tools and the tools to load the data - that whole mechanism - in order to allow for flexibility in the configuration.""I think they should have a larger data center in China, which would significantly increase the access speed from my current workspace.""It would be very nice if we were able to roll back transactions from data that was loaded with the data loader.""From the feedback that I get, the functional side of the payroll could be improved.""It is a cloud solution, so we cannot do much customization. However, if you have a past license, you can do the customization, but unfortunately, we don't have a past license. If we had that, we would have been 100% happy.""The solution has much room for improvement in all the modules.""I was part of a program I went to where I had a discussion on the latest innovation of the Oracle HCM. I think some of the newer technology innovations, such as gamification and consumerization are areas that could be improved."

"The API integration could be better.""The biggest disadvantage with things like PeopleSoft is that they do continuous support and fixes and upgrades. You get to choose when you want to implement that upgrade. However, in order to keep up, you have to upgrade.""I think the inventory part it should be simplified. There is the GR, or good receipt note, which is the time that the materials comes in, and the work days, etc. There is a lot of shuffling through pages, which creates a lot of problems for our users. They don't know which page to go to, where to create a GR, or where to create a stock entry. In other words, all the information is very daunting. It's very easy for people to understand and get a better clarity over it.""PeopleSoft should be more flexible with the configuration. There should be less coding and more configuration.""The whole systematic flow of any query raised to HR should be improved.""Tools and UI could be enhanced.""The area that could be improved is the upgrade process, it's not the easiest. Oracle stopped supporting our version. So we have to move either to the cloud or work in a non-supported situation. That was certainly a disadvantage. That's also the reason why we decided not to stay with Oracle. Now we are moving to SAP.""We have already deployed it and we have had it for several years but we are switching to a modern HCM SaaS cloud product."

Pricing and Cost Advice
"On average, it's not a cheap solution.""The solution is expensive.""Licensing fees are on a yearly basis.""I cannot comment on the cost, as this is handled by a different team.""There is a license required for the use of this solution and we are on an annual license.""Oracle HCM offers many features at a low price.""It has a licensing cost. It has a cloud-based subscription, which is quite cheap.""The contract for one of them will be extended for three years and for another one for two years. One of them is paying monthly, and another one is paying per quarter. I don't know about the third one. So, it differs."
