We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"PeopleSoft has been fairly reliable for us. We haven't had any issues with stability.""PeopleSoft is resilient and has the flexibility for us to customize it.""I often say that PeopleSoft's greatest feature is how customizable it is.""It is a customizable product. We can customize it based on our needs, which is one of the features that I like about PeopleSoft. As far as financial accounting is concerned, the user interface is very good. You can also configure Chart of Accounts for all performance insights.""The most valuable feature is that it's easy to use.""PeopleSoft is a good core system. It has a lot of functionality. They frequently update the solution and recently they have added some good enhancements features for higher education. We just switched to the new fluid interface and that is working very well for us is very good.""The time system is what we get the most benefit from.""The feature that I have found most valuable is having the sources so that you're able to adapt the product to your needs. That was a big benefit."

"I like the talent, recruitment, and learning features the most.""The technical support is quite good.""The most valuable feature is Organizational Management (OM).""We've found that the solution has the capability to scale.""SAP HCM can handle a large number of employees. We can easily process payrolls and check the arrangements, and the client can also check the performance of the employees. Additionally, it has some advanced features.""They have some interesting features in the learning space.""The most valuable feature is the Personnel Administration.""It simplifies everything for human capital management, and all users can do self-enrollment for leaves and those kinds of things. The employee self-service feature is quite a powerful feature for me. You can install it on your mobile phone or iPad and do your employee service activity there."

Cons
"We have already deployed it and we have had it for several years but we are switching to a modern HCM SaaS cloud product.""Tools and UI could be enhanced.""I'd like PeopleSoft to be like on the cloud and more mobile-friendly. If I try to access it from a cell phone, it's a bit difficult, so it would be great if PeopleSoft could improve these features.""The area that could be improved is the upgrade process, it's not the easiest. Oracle stopped supporting our version. So we have to move either to the cloud or work in a non-supported situation. That was certainly a disadvantage. That's also the reason why we decided not to stay with Oracle. Now we are moving to SAP.""There can occasionally be complexity in the initial setup.""One of the areas that could improve is the capability of utilizing mobile for some of the self-service activities that are missing. They are running on the older platform. What is happening is people are focusing on the cloud. PeopleSoft is a good provider and should into the cloud. That could be an advantage for them. Customers would not have to go find another solution that is a completely different platform that has different functionality altogether.""Global payroll could be easier to use.""The whole systematic flow of any query raised to HR should be improved."

"This solution needs to be more configurable and user-friendly.""It would be nice if the solution migrated to S/4HANA.""I would like it to move more towards a single data space, a single data source. SAP as a platform relies on multiple data sources because traditionally, it's been bolted together by the acquisition of other products rather than a single database. That's why there are lots of points of failure and lots of required points of integration. They need a single integration point.""The speed of technical support can be improved.""I'm currently working for a state-owned government company, and we need to follow some standards and regulations. We also have a strategy to be followed. Sometimes the template and the format are not available in the SAP HCM, so we have to work around this limitation. The tax also sometimes changes in my country, and we have to redo everything to change the payroll calculations, benefits, and things like that. The talent management feature can be improved. It is currently very simple in SAP HCM. SAP is also very hard to integrate. In terms of monitoring, there are no monitoring tools, but as long as we take care of the disk capacity, there is no problem.""The solution is rather expensive.""The extensibility of the integration could be improved."
