"PeopleSoft is resilient and has the flexibility for us to customize it."
"The recruiting is most valuable. It saves time in having easy and fast applicants tracking as well as candidates' contact plus pipeline management."
"The PeopleSoft interface is very good."
"PeopleSoft has been fairly reliable for us. We haven't had any issues with stability."
"The most valuable feature is that it's easy to use."
"It's a mature product."
"PeopleSoft is a good core system. It has a lot of functionality. They frequently update the solution and recently they have added some good enhancements features for higher education. We just switched to the new fluid interface and that is working very well for us is very good."
"The feature that I have found most valuable is having the sources so that you're able to adapt the product to your needs. That was a big benefit."
"It has improved my organization by enabling us to efficiently manage our personnel."
"This solution has always been stable for me."
"This solution has automatic linking and reporting features. Upgrades are hassle-free because you don't need to change everything from scratch, when compared to Meta4."
"Currently, we are using the performance and goals management functionality the most. It is connected with the enterprise solution, and it is seamless. It can be easily accessed because it is available via the net. It is readily available, provided you have an internet connection. Their technical support is also very good."
"The self-service part is most valuable. Employees and managers can do a lot of things on their own, and they are not dependent on the HR organization."
"This solution offers good flexibility and configurability. It can handle different types of performance management."
"The initial setup was pretty simple."
"It's very user-friendly."
"PeopleSoft should be more flexible with the configuration. There should be less coding and more configuration."
"We have already deployed it and we have had it for several years but we are switching to a modern HCM SaaS cloud product."
"The biggest disadvantage with things like PeopleSoft is that they do continuous support and fixes and upgrades. You get to choose when you want to implement that upgrade. However, in order to keep up, you have to upgrade."
"The API integration could be better."
"One of the areas that could improve is the capability of utilizing mobile for some of the self-service activities that are missing. They are running on the older platform. What is happening is people are focusing on the cloud. PeopleSoft is a good provider and should into the cloud. That could be an advantage for them. Customers would not have to go find another solution that is a completely different platform that has different functionality altogether."
"Scalability is not there in PeopleSoft. Its performance and resilience are also very bad. When you're trying to stretch it, it breaks. It is not resilient. It is also not stable. It is stable as far as data is concerned, but the infrastructure is not stable."
"I'd like PeopleSoft to be like on the cloud and more mobile-friendly. If I try to access it from a cell phone, it's a bit difficult, so it would be great if PeopleSoft could improve these features."
"The UI and user experience are not great, and it's not as feature-rich as today's systems. Furthermore, our implementation does not include all the components we need, like payroll or some other functions."
"The process for long modules needs to be improved, because compared to how it's done with a competitor (Meta4), the competitor's process was simpler."
"The initial setup could be simplified."
"It is not that user-friendly. It can be made more user-friendly."
"The stability could be a bit better."
"Its overall integration and user experience can be improved. SuccessFactors is a system that is built out of three different systems. The elements part was bought from Plateau, and the original performance dialogue was built by SuccessFactors itself. After that, SAP bought it, and it hasn't improved in the last few years. SuccessFactors is a perfect tool if you use it the way it is meant to be, but if you start building custom sessions and try to use it differently, then it is a total mess. It is not agile. It is like an old Mastodon truck or whatever. We don't have the Employee Central and Competence Management modules. Our company made the choice to not implement the Employee Central module. We also didn't implement the Competence Management module. We use the learning module to do some competence management, but I am not that fond of it. It would have been best to have the whole suite. SAP should never sell this without selling the whole suite because it just doesn't work. The biggest gain for me would be having the possibility of doing strategic personnel planning and managing internal mobility. If it could be used for social purposes, such as creating communities and connecting with media channels, that would be perfect. It should also have the possibilities for local admin and agile product development."
"The data management part can be improved in terms of how you can manage data from the HR admin's or HR team's perspective. It has some limitations in the reporting part in terms of how you can update the data and fetch the data. SAP HCM comparatively has a lot of capabilities in terms of backup loads, data management, data changes, etc. You can do these things easily, which is not the case with SAP SuccessFactors. Data management should be simplified in SAP SuccessFactors in terms of accessing the data, reporting, and then manipulating the data."
"User experience for this solution needs to be improved."
"The reporting and cloud integration could be done better in this solution."
