I usually deal with marketing and I use IBM Predictive Analytics for data mining. At this time, we are not using it because we are working with another company in a niche area with a specialized algorithm in artificial intelligence.
Our most recent use case was related to the proposition of promotions for clients. Based on the contact history and other information, we would predict the next best offer for that client. We had another one that was related to real-time marketing based on a person's past behavior on a website. A third was in a contact center and it was used to anticipate certain customer actions in order to reduce the rate of complaints.
