What is Menlo Security Isolation Security Operations Center?

What is our primary use case?

If a client has a PC and a PC network, we can remotely manage the setup.

Basically, if any company has multiple offices, multiple IT centers, they can actually manage security from one location.

How has it helped my organization?

Having the solution is a compliance requirement. Every bank, every finance company requires this. It's a mandate.

What is most valuable?

The solution helps us with compliance. 

The solution is scalable. 

What needs improvement?

We would like to see the cost of the solution reduced slightly.

The initial setup is not straightforward and does take a while to finalize. 

The product does require a high level of training. 

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using the solution for two years at this point. 

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability has been good in general. If you need to expand it, you can. 

We have more than 500,000 people on the product. 

How are customer service and support?

The customer support is there when you need it. However, the solution requires a lot of education day in, day out.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup takes time. It's also not straightforward. It takes at least two months or maybe six weeks. I'd estimate a company is looking at more than six weeks to just configure. That said, every customer is different.

We started with 20 to 25 people on the product. They're admins and engineers. 

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The solution is too expensive. It could be cheaper. 

We pay a yearly licensing fee. 

What other advice do I have?

I'd rate the solution at a seven out of ten overall. It's pretty good. 

I would recommend the solution to others.
