"Basically, I set Wasabi up and forget it. I'll monitor it every once in a while just to make sure that it's working correctly."
"I don't have enough experience to understand the nuances of where they might improve."
What is our primary use case?
I use Wasabi for cloud backup. I don't what else you can use it for.
What is most valuable?
Basically, I set Wasabi up and forget it. I'll monitor it every once in a while just to make sure that it's working correctly. It's cost-effective and simple.
What needs improvement?
I don't have enough experience to understand the nuances of where they might improve. You can sign in to your account and monitor it. Beyond that, I don't know if there are any other bells and whistles that I could subscribe to. I don't use my cell phone to monitor it, so I couldn't comment on that.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using Wasabi for a couple of years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I'm going to assume that Wasabi is stable. I haven't had the chance to try it out extensively, so I really can't comment one way or the other. I trust that it's good because software vendors recommend it.
How was the initial setup?
Wasabi is much easier to set up than the AWS solution.
What was our ROI?
I've used Amazon Web Services S3, and Wasabi is considerably less expensive. You save a lot of money for the same capabilities, and it's also easier to set up than Amazon Web Services. So this is my go-to solution for cloud storage.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I can only tell you that Wasabi costs about half what Amazon Web Services is charging. Now, the cost per month is a more difficult question. That varies depending on the capacity, the services you're employing, and that type of thing. So it's a question that doesn't have an answer without a specific case study. But, all in all, it's also easier to understand how much they will charge you for storage.
What other advice do I have?
I rate Wasabi 10 out of 10. The only advice I have for others is to choose a backup software solution that will integrate with Wasabi, so you have that capability.
